About The Program
Bachelor of Textile Design
Textile Designing is the art of creating designs for woven, knitted, printed fabrics or surface ornamented fabrics. These fabrics have wide application in apparel, fashion accessories, drapes, towels, rugs, home furnishing, and so on. A textile designer can play with colors, textures, and various materials to make unique fabrics. A textile designer job requires a flair for creativity and a good understanding of fabric manufacturing techniques. The industry offers ample opportunities for textile designers.
