An Industrial Exposure
SIDT over the years has hosted multiple Industrial Visits for the various batches to highlight the value prospect of ‘on-field’ industrial learning. Having strong industry connections allows us to conduct visits in collaboration with departments of valuable textile and design companies that provide in-depth learning opportunities while giving us a chance for our students to witness behind the scenes a successful company within the industry.
Students visit Asia’s topmost textile and garment industries to understand large scale manufacturing processes of various garments including Denims, Suiting, Sportswear, Kidswear, etc. as well as Yarn and Fabric manufacturing, dyeing and finishing processes.
