Dr. Datta, Dean of SIDT, leads with this motto! In his vast experience of more than 25 years, he has worked extensively in academic institutes and garment industry as well as with several craft clusters and government organizations for development of Indian Crafts and Textiles. A NIFT Post Graduate and an economist at heart, he is an excellent teacher, guide and mentor! Merchandising, Entrepreneurship and Management are his areas of expertise. He is proficient in Administrating, Strategic Planning & Organizational Management as well as in Communication. As a Dean, he leads the Team SIDT and strives towards providing quality education & training to aspiring designers & merchandisers.
